Hello there

I have set up the spam filter as follows:

Local Domains:
maildomain1.com:mail.maildomain1.com:25
maildomain2.com:mail.maildomain2.com:25

If someone sends an email to xxx@maildomain2.com and CC's abc@maildomain1.com, both emails will be relayed to mail.maildomain2.com and subsequently, an NDR is sent from mail.maildomain2.com saying there is no such address as abc@maildomain1.com

I noticed there were some changes being made in 3.5 regarding mail not being filtered if a to address is whitelisted - see http://www.logsat.com/spamfilter/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID= 5960 - could it be related to this?

big_jon, this is a known bug in SFI which apparently required an extensive rewrite of the mail delivery system. The beta versions of SpamFilter Enterprise include this bug fix and since we installed the SFE beta we have not had any reports of this bug the customers whose mail we host.

Hi M

Thanks for the info. We may just forward all mail to another host which can look after the relaying. I'm not sure I'd be confident putting a beta into the production environment.
