We've just made available in the registered user area new beta for SpamFilter ISP v3.0.1.552.

The major changes from the previous beta are:
  • We added a new administration web interface for SpamFilter (it's in a very early beta stage)
  • The SFDB filter allows more flexibility in the searches
  • A bug caused the SFDB filter to stop working if our centralized database was down for maintenance. The issue was isolated to the SFDB filter, there were no side effects other than the filter not uploading new IPs and not performing queries.
Please note that there are additional .pem files in the distribution zip file. They are the SSL certificates for the new web interface. These files will need to be placed in the SpamFilter directory for the web interface to work.

I noticed that on the latest release, you do not show the number of SFDB entries in the master database.

Definitely not necessary for functionality, but was interesting to take a look at here and there.

Otherwise - This is really a great product.  I really like your interaction with the users and admins like myself who use the software on a daily basis.

jerbo128,

Where are you looking?  The number of entries is reported.

jerbo128,

Can you please confirm you're using the latest build 522? With the previous build, we had this bug, which would affect the count as well:

"A bug caused the SFDB filter to stop working if our centralized database was down for maintenance. The issue was isolated to the SFDB filter, there were no side effects other than the filter not uploading new IPs and not performing queries."

I am looking on the SFDB tab.  Have I gone nuts?

Wow! ... No, you havn't gone nuts!  I just saw that with some screen resolutions, if the SP GUI is full screen, the stats seem to get pushed behind the list of filters.  Try setting to NOT full screen and see what happens.

My resolution was set to 1024x768 in that screenshot.

If I shrink the window some to near 800X600, the number does appear.  However,  If I go much small, it disappears again.

Thanks for the idea.
