Out of curiosity, what is the limit on the keywords.txt size that SF can read and hold in memory?  Reason I ask is because a email got thru and it was definitely spam.

I believe your hardware is the limit of any of the text files, but another thing to look at it the spamfilter.ini setting:

MaxMsgSizeForKeywordScan=4096

If length of message is larger then above then no keyword scan is done on the email.

Check the headers to make sure it wasn't whitelisted as well. We use the autowhitelistforcedelivery list a lot and more often then not when spam slips thru its because of a very liberal autowhitelist rule.

Guys,

I was under the impression that that setting was in KBytes so that 4096 sounds high to me.

Desperado,

  Your right, it is in KBytes. It does take a little more resources but I hardly notice it since we are on a dual QC Xeon box with 4 gig of memory. CPU usage barely ever reaches 5%. Just getting ready for the next 300 domains .....

  SFE  ROCKS!!
