Hi

I put in the white list "Exluded From Emails" this line = *@clientdomain.com But it was bloked = /11/11 13:33:13:444 -- (3632) Mail from: eee@clientdomain.com 83324: 07/11/11 13:33:14:210 -- (3632) EMail from eee@clientdomain.com to rrr@mydomain.com matches content filter rules - rejected. 83328: 07/11/11 13:33:14:381 -- (1432) EMail from eee@clientdomain.com to rrr@mydomain.com was received and quarantined. Size: 393 KB, 402432 bytes Is he was reject by a rule I put in the black lists filter? Is the black list filter take over the white list filter? If so how can I bypass this?

The whitelist always overrules the blacklists.

vbourbeau,

Are you certain that there are no misspellings or trailing/leading spaces in your whitelist entry "*@clientdomain.com", and that the domain matches exactly the domain for the sender? As you thought, the whitelist takes precedence of the blacklist, so that email should have been delivered. Please let us know if this helps. If not, could you please zip and email us at support at logsat dot com us the following so we can take a look:
If the zipped file is over 8MB in size, please upload it to our ftp server, for which I'll PM the login details. |

   vbourbeau,

We received your file. As I had already mentioned in my reply, the entry in your "AllowedEmailsFrom.txt" file for that domain did indeed have a trailing space after it, and thus it failed to match. FYI there are 8 other entries in your file that contain a trailing space, so those other 8 domains will not trigger the whitelist match. I'll email you back the file without those spaces so you can compare it to your version.
