I've had some spam recently show up with this in the message:

Shouldn't the X-Server... etc be deleted somewhere before making it to my inbox, or is Outlook rendering this wrong?

When you view the source, the header info is supossed to show up. I do not understand why you would want it deleted.  It contains all the info on how the message arrived.

Dan,

To see header info in my Outlook, I need to open the message and then click:

View -> Options -> Internet Headers
to see this information.

The problem is that this code is showing up in the message body.

Next sample:
X-Server: LogSat Software SMTP Server X-SF-RX-Return-Path: X-SF-HELO-Domain: mail.mtprint.com Return-Path: tiwmwlmwfhm@hotmail.com Message-ID: X-OriginalArrivalTime: 27 Jan 2006 09:59:17.0279 (UTC) FILETIME=[55DC1AF0:01C62328] Date: 27 Jan 2006 04:59:17 -0500 No luck in arranging dates, try Ultra Allure Pheromones.
You are still young and productive and you want to make out with as many women as possible.
Ultra Allure Pheromones can help you here.

Hmmm ... dunno then.  Must be a problem with the tags in the source that is confusing Outlook.  Anybody else have any thoughts?

The headers embedded in the email body is something that can happen if the email is not formatted properly.

Sometimes spammers are really good and smart, other times they try to make the email so complicated that they mess up and the above occurs...
