Roberto,

Running two instance of Spamfilter on one machine  (incoming/outgoing) requires 2 licence or 1?

I need to know so I can adjust the cost accordingly in the planning.

best regards

Atif

You may run as many instances as you wish on the same server with the same license.

In case of VMWare virtual servers, each "guest" VM server will require a license (since each guest is a "server"), but again, on any guest you can run as many instances as you wish.

As a side-note, if you've been following some threads in the forum, soon (about a month or two we're estimating right now) we will be releasing a new product line, SpamFilter Enterprise. This version will allow the customization of every filter and black/white list for every local domain.

Even though the new version will be priced differently, it will be a free upgrade to all users with a current software maintenance agreement (which allows for free upgrades...).

Great. thanks. very fair of you.

For vm sessions I agree that every server instance should have it owns licence.

I will be growing this cluster soon so will get new licences accordingly.

best regards
