SFE 4.0.1.785
SQL SERVER 2000 STD
OS WIN 2KSVR SP4
1) We have updated data in tblwl_autowhitelistforcedelivery removing all USER@DOMAIN|USER@DOMAIN rule in order to avoid domain spoofing (see my last post on this matter)
2) users keep on receiving spoofing account spam messages
3) we have noted that in "SpamFilter\domains" directory, WL_AutoWhiteListForceDelivery.txt is older then db updating and keeps on mantaining USER@DOMAIN|USER@DOMAIN rule despite related db rule deletion
4) log reporting "Exception occurred during ChecktblReloadTableInfo: String or binary data would be truncated" (does it matter?)
Any idea?

rudaf,
That log error should not be occurring, and it may be the culprit. Could you please zip and email us your SpamFilter's activity logfile for the day above so we can take a look? If the zip is over 7MB in size, please use our FTP site - I'll send the login via PM |

rudaf,
We received your logfile, but it only contains 15 minutes worth of entries, so we're unable to see if there are any other issues that can be contributing to the error you reported. Can you please upload to the ftp site a zip containing the activity logfile for the entire day? From the errors we do see, there could be an issue with the contents of the tblReloadTableInfo table in SpamFilter's database. Are you able to export the contents of that table to a text file so we can try to see what could be wrong? |

rudaf,
We may have found the issue. Can you please try editing the table "tblReloadTableInfo" in SpamFilter's database, and increasing the "TableName" field size from a varchar(45) to varchar(65)? It seems as if the size of the ID field in one of your tables has exceeded the maximum size we allocated for it, and the above increase will adjust for it. |
