I notice a spam protection company that uses a dummy server as their highest priority (lowest priority?) server... the server that other servers should be trying first.
Basically they have an MX record that points to a dead IP address. The theory is that spammers try and hit that server and do not move on to the lower servers on the list. Has anyone tried this? I suspect it might just work! |
