Dear Roberto,

The tblmsgs table in the SpamFilter database is corrupt and is eating up all space on the hard drive. I tried repairing the table using MySQL Administrator but even after waiting for hours, the repair isn't happening. Can you please help me to get this resolved?

Regards,

Susheel

Susheel,

If the quarantine database is several dozens of gigs in size, it can indeed take several hours for the repair process to take place. To try speeding it up you can try to temporarily disable SpamFilter's quarantine, which will prevent new records from being added to the database while it's being repaired. You can disable the quarantine by setting to 0 the value "Enter the number of days to store quarantined rejected emails" located in the database tab in SpamFilter.

If MySQL is not able to repair the table, unfortunately you will need to try restoring it for backup, if one is available.

If none of these options work, please let us know if you're using SpamFilter ISP Standard or Enterprise, so we can try to see how to proceed in creating a new database and/or new tables.

Roberto,
I managed to repair the table using "myisamch" and after several hours the repair was successful. I although wasn't able to find any previous quarantine data in the web interface. I can see the data through MySQL though.

I am using the Enterprise edition. Can you please assist me in displaying the earlier data?

Awaiting,

Susheel
