Is there anything that can be done on the SFDC to reduce the impact on the impact on blackberry return receipts?
We are seeing relevance scores from 100 - 200 on return receipt messages from blackberry. Obviously they are all the same (or very close) and that is what is causing SFDC to stop the messages. Other than adding blackberry to the whitelist of every new client how can these be handled? |

Unfortunately the SFDC content is based exclusively on "fingerprints" of spam emails, and if a short return message has a similar fingerprint of a series of spam messages that may be circulating during the past few hours, this may cause a false positive.
We have received during the past years reports specific to blackberry return receipts (and apparently *only* specific to these receipts - other emails are not affected), but as it's currently impossible to statistically differentiate between a blackberry receipt and a spam email with this filter (since it is performing statistical calculations), unfortunately for now the only practical solution we have is to disable this filter if it creates an abnormal number of false positives.

We have resolved the problem (if you want to call it that) with some scripts that monitor for incorrectly placed into quarantine.
