Just a feature suggestion.  My server is located in a remote data center, it is difficult (impossible) to monitor the traffic activity through the activity log when things are busy at the server.  There is simply too much data for remote desktop to push.

It would be great if there was a feature that could be enabled to show warnings/errors only.  I really am only interested in seeing problems and not every connection to the server.

If the DNS is down, database connectivity is broken or there are delivery problems to a server I am much more interested than seeing a message that is flowing normally.

If I could watch for errors only that would be great.  Another feature I have seen in another software package is the ability to basically screen shot the logs.  With logs going by so fast it is impossible to watch so the option to just snapshot a screen or two worth would allow a person to just take the occasional snapshot to see what is happening.

You could just open the error log text file. That will give you a snapshot of the error as it exists at the time

Andrew,

What is the name of the error log text file?  I see the log files which log everything, but I have not seen an error log file.

The log files we have can be gigs in size, looking through them for errors is not so much fun.

yapadu,

The is only a single logfile where SpamFilter logs everything. Critical errors can be located by searching for the word "exception " (include the space following "exception" so as to not to find email addresses that have "exception" in the email/domain).
