Is it possible the active logfile is called spamfilter.log, this for monitoring purposes on the logfile. It's not easy to monitor a logfile that is changing names every day.
The rest of the logfile archiving mechanism is perfect, but the active file always has the filename of the todays date.

Thanx in advance

Jasper,

All of SpamFilter's activity logfiles are stored in the \SpamFilter\logfiles directory, and the files are all named with the format:

yyyymmdd.log

where yyyy is the 4-digit year, mm is the 2-digit month, and dd is the 2-digit day. The "active" file is not different, it will be named according to the current date.

FYI - There is an option in the SpamFilter.ini file to "split" the daily logfiles into smaller parts that are renamed every few hours:

;Specifies how often the logfiles are rotated (Min=1, Max=24). The default is 24 (rotates at midnight). A value of 1 means every hour at the hour, value of 2 means at 2am, 4am, 6am etc...

RotateLogsEveryNNhours=24
