Is there a problem with Windows Server 2008? I have installed SF v.4.2.4.851 on a Windows 2008 server without apparent problem but when I come to create a connection string to a MySQL database I keep getting the same error:
Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider.
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The specifide DSN containes an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application
I've tried every combination of MySQL Server 5.1 32bit and 64bit with MySQL Connector 5.1.10 32 bit and 64 bit and also MySQL Connector 3.51.30 64bit and 32 bit.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a specific combination of MySQL and ODBC Drivers I should be using?
Thanks for your help.

That error usually occurs when you used the incorrect version of the odbcad32.exe which manages the 64-bit version of the driver instead of the 32bit one. Are you certain you used the c:\windows\sysWOW64\odbcad32.exe (correct version) and not the c:\windows\system32\odbcad32.exe (incorrect version)?
For the MySQL Connection, please try using the older 3.51 (32bit) rather than the 5.1, as we've received reports of incompatibilities from some users.
