I'm just trying out the evaluation version of spamfilter, version 178.
but haven't seen an option to limit the inbound message size. saw an
email coming in which was 160 megs, and this cracked up the memory use
very much. is there such a feature in the newer builds, or is this something
which is on the to-do list ?

But I guess this release will only be to the registered users ?
or is there a planned update for the evaluation release as well ?

Configuring a max size limit has been on the wish list. We are testing internally the new alpha release that does have this new feature along with a few others. This build will be officially released towards the end of this coming week.
