I have a user that is getting NDR's from PDQ.net. Seems PDQ is trying to verify email address' from my domain because emails sent to PDQ return with 550 - sender verify failed. If there something in Logsat that I need to activate to allow email verification for this PDQ.net domain? Thanks |

It strange that PDQ is trying to verify the email address itself. If they do, they are not receiving emails fro quite a few sites, since good security concerned administrators always disable the checking of the existance of email addresses. It is more common that the check is to see if the IP address issuing the connection matches with the domain portion of the email. If your DNS is configured correctly, and the FQDN of your outgoing SMTP server is correct, there should not be problems. Roberto F. |
