   Hi everybody,
I'm using SF ISP with NAI Webshield SMTP gateway in the same server, but in diferent ports. My first option was NAI Webshield receiving all mail on port 25 an then, after checking for virusoses, forward mail to SF to port "xyz" (both aplications running on the same IP address). After that, SF send all valid e-mail to another machine that handles the users mailboxes.
Everything works, except that SF doens't apply any rule to my domain and all spam gets throw. Is this because both applications are running in the same server (same IP)? If so, any solution? 
If I reverse the order (SF on port 25 and Webshield on port "xyz") everything works fine, but I get a lot of e-mails with virus that became quarantine because they are considered spam. It's realy hard to clean the database everyday because of serveral false positives.

	PSeixas, SpamFilter should be the first application to process incoming email, since it needs the original source IP address to apply filtering rules to it. If you place Webshield in front of SpamFilter, then SpamFilter will "see" a connection originating from Webshield's IP address, not the original sender, so it will not be able to apply reverse-DNS or MAPS filters to it. 	There is a bit of a caveat in this setup. NAI will receive mail on the primary IP address no matter what you tell it to do. In my test setup, I have Spamfilter receiving on port 25 and sending on port 26. NAI receives on port 26 and sends on port 5525 to my Sendmail server which is set up to receive on that port. My clients sent on port 26 to use the NAI server but I have also tested using SpamFilter as my client server which also works as long as you understand the filtering ramifications. Regards, Dan S.
