Could someone please show me an example on how to setup IMail and SpamFilter to co-exist? I am having problems sending out emails when spamfilter is enabled. All outbound emails get rejected. Thanks in advance. Ray

You must change the port that Imail listens on for the SMTP service. And then tell spam filter that the destination server is 127.0.0.1 with the new port number that Imail is listening on (take your pick, 28, 1025, etc.). Older versions of Imail require a registry entry to change the port number for SMTP, new versions allow the setting from the admin program. I mail will continue to use port 25 to send mail out. You will need to configure your email clients (Outlook, etc) TO USE THE NEW PORT NUMBER AS WELL. Imail binds to ALL IP addresses in the computer, while Spamfilter lets you choose the IP address to use. This is why you can't use port 25 in your email clients. The Imail knowledge base has info on "SMPT PORT" for more info. James Taylor
