Is it currently possible to, or are there future plans to allow users to update the "allowed from" or "excluded domains" white lists? ie. if a users always wants to receive mail from a certain person they would like to submit the request from within their quarantine instead of calling our support dept. The best option would be if individuals could maintain their own white/black lists that exist separate from the global lists... Thanks. Kurt |

Kurt, In theory that is possible right now with a bit of web development using ASP code. Web pages could be written to allow end-users add to SpamFilter's black/white list text files. These files can be placed anywhere (also UNC shares), and SpamFilter reloads them automatically every few minutes. We however do not recommend doing so. Users may add lists that are possibly several MBs in size, and huge lists can impact SpamFilter's performance. They were desiged to be used by admins. If you wish to make other use of them however, the posssibility is there! Roberto F. |
