Okay, a deep dig through the archives found me the answer to my problem.  Terminal Services loses the icon in the toolbar when it runs as a service.  Anyone have a workaround?  The system room is a chilly, noisy place around here.

Could a re-run of the config, with a command-line switch, maybe wake up all the SpamFilter service/windows at some point?

Robert,

I use "MiniRemote by DameWare.  http://www.dameware.com.  Somewhat like PC Anywhare but cheaper, easier to use, more secure (the service can be stopped and started remotely) and just generally a good program.

I use UltraVNC myself. It's a Windows-only VNC variant that supports Windows logons, and it's pretty fast. (Also, it's freeware.)

http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/

Make sure to get the latest version when downloading, as it's still in beta test.

If you're not comfortable with beta software, you could also use RealVNC or TightVNC.
