Hi,
Is it possible to mark certain attachments as safe? for ex. a PDF doc in Spam Filter Standard Edition. Users on my ISP are reporting that they dont seem to be getting emails where the sender has attached a PDF document but are instead getting rejection emails from the spam filter. Thanks, Andrew. |

andrew, PDF spam has recently become a big problem and like all spam detection mechanisms you run the risk of "false positives" which seems to be what you are experiancing.
Check out these threads for discussion on PDF spam:
We have experienced some great results in fighting PDF spam with SFI so a bit of tweaking of your settings will keep your users happy. The quarantine is a great tool to empower your users to handle their false positives, I'd suggest you implement it if you haven't already.
